TRIP-Link works in conjunction with Link Transit to provide free transportation for rural Chelan and Douglas county residents. Users of TRIP-Link must be either 65 years or older or disabled with no other means of transportation.
TRIP-Link is a mileage reimbursement program. Users don’t have to schedule trips, they only need to designate a Good Samaritan, like a neighbor, to provide a ride. The user is then reimbursed for the mileage at the end of the month to pass on to the driver.
