Join us on Thursday, September 8th at 2pm EST to hear Dominic Haigh, Michele Brooks and Michael Rosa discuss bold and creative approaches that shuttle providers are using to combat timely issues
The continuing evolution of hybrid work patterns is challenging managers of shuttle services. The reasons for providing shuttles (recruiting, retention, compliance, parking/GHG reduction) still apply, but demand patterns are constantly shifting, and funding is under pressure, whether due to reduced ridership, or lower revenues from sources such as parking fees.
This webinar explores the creative ways companies, TMAs, institutions, and landlords are confronting this problem. These approaches include increasing on-demand operation, sharing services, monetizing deadheads and collecting fares from specific kinds of riders (e.g. contractors, visitors, employees of neighboring companies, the public).
After a quick review of the options, we'll hear from transportation managers who have implemented these concepts: their challenge, what they did in response, how it has worked for them and their riders, and their plans for the future.
