On Thursday, March 18, the Metropolitan Policy Program will host an event honoring frontline essential workers. The event will highlight innovative local, state, and federal programs that have supported essential workers and identify the policy priorities that remain. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf will highlight the state’s COVID-19 Hazard Pay Grant, and Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Chair Hilda Solis will discuss their Hero Pay Initiative.
