The Community Transportation Map and Database
The National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) developed a national transit database depicting the approximate location of transit agencies and organizations across the United States of America. This database combines existing datasets with new research to create an exhaustive list of organizations that provide transportation services to communities across the country. This database contains public transit providers, community action agencies, senior centers, and others that provide transportation. This list will be updated annually to keep the data as up-to-date as possible.
Use the map above to explore state and local transportation providers and their related information. Zoom in and click on specific transportation agencies to learn more about their available services, contact information and more. We recommend calling the provider to receive current service information.

NCMM would like to thank all of the partners that helped make this map possible. Data from US DOT, FTA, NADTC and National RTAP were all used to create the Community Transportation Database.

Nearly two-thirds of all bikeshare docking stations are within one block of another public passenger transportation mode and an additional 17% are within two blocks according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics recently completed Docked Bikeshare Stations layer. The Docked Bikeshare Stations layer provides the locations of docked bikeshare stations and the degree of connectivity in the passenger transportation system.
