AV America, with the support of Global Mass Transit (GMT), is organizing its Third Conference on Autonomous Vehicles and Public Transport as a virtual event. The mission of the conference is to discuss the current status, future plans and best practices in the deployment of autonomous vehicles (AVs) in the context of emerging regulatory environment, customer expectations, funding challenges, technology development, and economic recovery. The conference will provide a platform to understand how the pandemic has affected the AV deployment plans of transit agencies and what is envisioned as the future of public transportation in the new normal.
