Description:
The Simply Get There website explains its service as “a database of public and private sector transportation providers in the Atlanta region. It is being designed to make it easy for individuals to find a ride.” The project background page adds that it is a “…project funded through the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Veterans Transportation and Community Living Initiative (VTCLI) grant. These applications are collectively called ‘One-Call/One-Click’ projects, while the Atlanta region project is branded as ‘Simply Get There.’ The pilot partners were part of a diverse stakeholder group that worked with Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) staff and software development contractors to create a product that meets the needs of the people they support with services.”
