Students enrolled in the Los Angeles Community College District will have free access to the metro and other participating transportation under the pilot program, which will continue until December 31, 2022. The district announced on Tuesday, December 7th.
The GoPass program came into effect on December 1st, and following a vote by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s board of directors on September 23, kindergarten to high school students and community colleges agreed to share the cost of the program.
