Demand-response transportation (DRT) often fills the gaps in transportation for those who cannot drive.  DRT is typically door-to-door service and can include Dial-a-Ride, ADA complementary paratransit, volunteer driver programs, or even taxis and ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft. For the customer, scheduling on one or many of these options can be difficult.  That’s where TDS comes in.

This introductory session will explain what is Transaction Data Specifications (TDS), why even small providers can benefit and how TDS can be used to expand the availability of demand responsive transportation.
