Health Outreach Partners invites health centers and organizations dedicated to advancing health equity to join us on April 21st, 2021 at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT/ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT for a webinar titled “Building Community Partnerships to Advance Health Equity.”

Achieving health equity requires successful, multi-sectoral partnerships that are creative, innovative and share a common goal. The goal of the webinar is for participants to understand the principles of health equity and identify strategies that they can use to form partnerships. Our presentation will focus on innovative practices and highlight resources for fostering and maintaining collaborations.

This webinar will feature Ellen Lawton, JD, a national expert in the integration of legal professionals into the health care setting to address the social determinants of health. Ellen helped found and then led the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership at George Washington University. Currently, Ellen is a Senior Fellow at HealthBegins, a national mission-driven consulting and training firm dedicated to improving care and the social and structural drivers of health equity.
